OUR PROJECTS

Sterling House, Exeter

Ravenslade provides Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for Sterling House refurbishment, transforming Exeter offices with reconfigured layouts, terraces, and a light-filled atrium

Sterling House spans four floors and shares basement parking facilities with the adjacent Sterling Court.

The proposed works aim to retrofit the internal spaces to create a more flexible, modern office environment. Key aspects of the scheme include reconfiguring the entrance and street-facing elements to enhance the building’s relationship with its urban context and introducing new terrace areas to take advantage of the building’s elevated views.

At the heart of the scheme is the atrium, envisioned as a key transitional space that links the entrance with the building’s interior. Serving as a welcoming hub, the atrium facilitates orientation and movement, offering a sense of openness and continuity. Generous natural light and visual connectivity reinforce its role as a bridge between the external environment and the internal office spaces, enhancing the user experience from arrival through to daily use.

The project has recently secured planning consent.
