Ravenslade assembled a multi-disciplinary team to design and manage the contract to re-model and refurbish the existing Union Street building for a city centre educational venue.

The newly refurbished venue was launched to support the city, its people, and local employers, aligning with its vision to become the learning destination of choice. It provides guidance on skills needs, identifies employee and employer training opportunities, and showcases developments within the skills sector.

The comprehensive refurbishment of the three-storey terrace property included a new mechanical ventilation and heat recovery system, energy-efficient lighting, and an impressive reception area. Funky furnishings were installed in the ground-floor breakout facilities to create an engaging environment for students and visitors.

The project was challenging and managed at a fast pace, requiring careful coordination to meet operational and funding requirements.
