Emperor House, Exeter

Ravenslade acts for Grenadier Estates on Exeter’s first EPC A+ office, managing financial, quality, and compliance oversight throughout construction and fit-out

Ravenslade were appointed as purchaser’s surveyors by Grenadier Estates to represent their interests in the construction of a 26,000 sq ft office building.

The brief began with due diligence and an initial audit at the Development Agreement stage.

Ravenslade then monitored financial drawdown requests from the property developer and assessed quality and specification compliance throughout the construction and fit-out phases.

The entire space was pre-let to LV Insurance, who undertook the Cat B fit-out works.

This project was the first EPC A+ graded office building in the South West.

To achieve this rating, the building was required to be highly energy-efficient, produce clean energy for on-site consumption, and be suitably insulated.
