Traditional Building Surveying Services managed by experienced professionals 

Core Services:

• Building Design, Contract Administration and Principal Designer services for projects ranging up to £2m.

  Refurbishment or extension works to education, healthcare, commercial or residential projects.

  Services will be managed by one of our experienced qualified [RICS or CIOB] building surveyors.

Services can include full project design, securing a planning consent, building regulations approval and obtaining contractor competitive tenders.

We will set up the build contract and manage the works to handover with full contract administration, cost control including certifying payments to the contractor and undertaking the principal designer role required for CDM compliance. 

• Condition Surveys

  On any type of building including listed and heritage buildings for funding purposes and school buildings for the purpose of Condition Improvement Fund applications.

• CiF Bids

  Ravenslade have a good success rate securing funding from DFE CiF bids by providing a thorough bid application to include a condition survey with priority works itemised and costed via a contractor tender process.

  We will secure a planning consent if needed and bring in other specialist consultants such as Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to report on the building services aspects.

  We will fully design/specify the project and obtain contractors tenders to secure the best chance of funding success.

Recent projects include:

• Managing reinstatement works to a school in North Devon following storm damage of biblical proportions where nearly £150,000 of damage was done in 20 minutes.

• Roof replacement works to a listed school building following a successful CiF bid.

• Full project design including securing planning consent for an extension to a school nursery.

• Managing the fit out works to offices, healthcare and industrial buildings

• Managing the refurbishment of residential residences for private individuals

• Feasibility study for wholesale roof replacement work at a NHS District Hospital
